Job Description This is a professional position in which the incumbent collects and analyzes data, evaluates reliability and sustainability of assessments and produces complex reports. The incumbent frequently exercises discretion and independent judgment in interpreting, presenting and communicating results of complex statistical analysis in writing, verbally, and graphically for diverse audiences.

Job Responsibilities

Examples of Work Performed:

Manage stakeholder requests from intake to completion with high levels of customer
service and professionalism, including conferring with stakeholders to clarify the
research project.

Design, compile, and analyze data with appropriate analytical and statistical
techniques and tools, such as Excel, Access, and Tableau.

Determine data requirements, data sources, and data collection methods using
internal and external sources, such as student information systems, IPEDS, and the
Delaware Cost Study.

Establish, maintain, and monitor relational database for collection and analysis of
demographics and data.

Apply appropriate statistical analysis methods and techniques, such as regressions,
to research requests with tools such as SAS, SPSS, or R.

Design and execute data visualizations to clearly communicate complex information
to non-technical stakeholders with tools such as Excel, Tableau, or PowerPoint.

Plan, coordinate, and compile the publication of internal and external reports and
surveys including state and federal reporting.

Develop and maintain departmental website and ensure accuracy of data content
using a content management system such as WordPress.

Perform similar or related duties as assigned or required.

Essential Functions

These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional
essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring Department.

2. Prepares, interprets, and communicates complex statistical information in writing,
verbally and graphically for diverse audiences.
3. Develops and maintains departmental website and ensures accuracy of data
content.

Minimum Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Management and
Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
AND Experience:
Three (3) years of experience related to the above described duties.
