Call for proposals: GAIRPAQ Annual Meeting, April 30, 2015

The Georgia Association of Institutional Research, Planning, Assessment, and Quality (GAIRPAQ) will be holding its annual conference April 30, 2015, at Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club in Cordele, GA, and is seeking proposals for conference presentations. Dr. Bill Knight, author of Leadership and Management in Institutional Research:  Enhancing Personal and Professional Effectiveness, will be our keynote speaker.

We all bring a broad range of experiences and widely varying backgrounds to this field of Institutional Research, to which many of us have devoted our life’s work.  We invite you to share your expertise and knowledge with your colleagues across Georgia by submitting a proposal for our annual conference.

The deadline for proposal submissions is Monday, March 16th, 2015.  Here is the link for proposal submission:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1LA0yrTIXzwxSR7fzFiLhwQ0FI3ArgY_E2C-ssHQw_io/edit?usp=sharing.

Individual proposals and/or panel discussions are encouraged.  Past topics have included:

Best Practices in IR
Emerging Technologies in IR
Research and Data Management Strategies
Data Sharing and Presentation Approaches
Institutional Effectiveness/Assessment
Closing the Loop: Using IR Data for Planning
Web Analytics for Assessment
Maximizing Productivity in IR Offices

Please note that we will not have access to a computer lab, so “hands-on” sessions will require that the participants bring a laptop.

The Conference Planning Committee is also interested in your suggestions for invited presentations. If you have recently seen/heard a speaker or panel that you believe would benefit the GAIRPAQ audience, please email dhutches@kennesaw.edu.

Looking forward to seeing you at Lake Blackshear!
