Our proposed date for the Spring 2015 conference is Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Lake Blackshear: http://www.lakeblackshearresort.com/
This date and location were selected to get us past IPEDS and SACS deadlines, avoid conflicts with other statewide meetings, and connect to the USG-IRP meeting, which will be held on Tues-Wed, April 28-29.  The negotiated room rate will be $112.00 per night before taxes.
We know that many GAIRPAQ members believe that Macon is the ideal location for ease of driving access and the possibility of avoiding an overnight stay. With this in mind, we need to hear from you if the Lake Blackshear location would present a hardship due to institutional travel restrictions or family obligations.
Once we are able to finalize our date and location, we can secure a keynote speaker for the conference. As many folks have suggested, we are hoping to bring in someone from outside the world of higher education, who can challenge our thinking and introduce us to new ideas.
